Its Princess Party time!

Maddi's 2!!!!

Who knew we'd make it two years? It has been amazing and we are so blessed to have such a wonderful and loving daughter. Every day is an adventure and she is learning so much! Her brain really is a little sponge; I'm not even sure where she learns everything she says (which is scary)!

Just this morning she told me from the top of the stairs. "mine waffle, no cook it. mine chocolate milk." From the kitchen, I said "okay, okay… I'm getting it". To which she replied. "Mine princess". Yes you are sweetie. You certainly are a princess.

Her birthday party was a blast! Uncle Tomo and Uncle Ryan were able to come and spend the whole weekend with us! Good thing too, we needed lots of help getting ready for the party! Maddi had lots of friends show up for the party and had a fabulous day!

What is that?

Maddi will be 2 in 2 months!!!! You know, like chuck wollery from love connections used to say "2 and 2".

Anyway, these days it seems like Maddi is always hungry! Okay, that is a lie. Last week she wasn't hungry at all, so this week she is eating pretty much anything you put in front of her~and most of it ends up on her mouth instead of inside her mouth!

Last night she was helping daddy "make" beans. Well, as it turns out she was eating them more than stirring them! Then today she had a smoothie! If it were still March I would have entered her for the "mustache march" contest! A sure winner with such a sweet stache!

Little miss has been expanding her vocab every day:

1. "That sucks": compliments of her favorite song by Pink.

2. "Maddie's happy": not sure where she got that one, but I like it!

3. "Good nap": every time she wakes up, she tells me that she took a "good nap"

Just wanted to share a few more bowling pics because Maddi had so much fun!!

Where in the world is Maddi Cisneros?

Okay, so it has been MONTHS since we've posted anything! No real excuse unless you counting hospital visits, moving, holidays with the family, buying a new house and unpacking, oh and how could I forget putting in an entire new back yard! We left Montana in October and finally got settled into our new house at the beginning of December. We have had lots of fun and sunny days since we got here, but today is drab and rainy which inspired me to become a "blogger" once again!

Today we took Maddi bowling for her first time. She was a little leery at first because of all the loud sounds that the balls and pins make, but soon she settled right in. Every time we would push the ball down the lane, she would either clap or say "Again?" She seemed to love it! I think she might be a natural like her Auntie Brianna… her 1st score was almost the same~ 61!

Another first for Maddi since we've been here in CALI is the BEACH! And she is a natural at that for sure! She has a perfect mix of her "moms" and dad in her! She likes to sit in the sand and play like her mom and she likes to be in the freezing cold water like her daddy! (They are crazy)

Okay, so I guess that is enough of an update for now! We'll be doing lots more and experiencing many more first throughout the next couple of years…. uh hello Disneyland!!! But I'll try to post more between now and then : 0
